I know I do! Unfortunately, towels start to feel rough against the skin and can possibly start to smell like mildew overtime because of not washing them the right way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Here are some factors to consider when washing your towels:<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">How Often To Wash Towels<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Every time you use your towel, it collects dead skin cells that remain after you&#8217;ve had a wash and over time it begins to build up. This then creates a great environment for bacteria to grow and thrive because of the towels moist and damp condition.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Therefore, it is advised to wash your towels after <strong>3-4 days or uses<\/strong>!<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">The Right Way To Wash Towels<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\">Towels need more than just a normal laundry cycle, there a certain things that you should and shouldn&#8217;t do when cleaning your towels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Don&#8217;t use too much detergent:\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Using too much laundry detergent can cause towels to stiffen because of excess residue. Instead, use less detergent than you usually would on normal loads.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Avoid fabric softener:\u00a0<span style=\"color: #808080;\">Although this stuff is suppose to make your fabrics soft, it will only strip the water absorbency qualities on your towels! Add vinegar to your load as an alternative to fabric softener every few weeks.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Don&#8217;t wash towels with normal clothes:<\/span>\u00a0Towels may not get properly cleaned when mixed in with other clothes and they also produce a lot of lint so it can get caught onto your clothes. It&#8217;s best to wash towels with other towels or similar fabrics.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">Dry accordingly: <span style=\"color: #808080;\">Drying towels with too much heat will only ruin towels fibres and not drying enough will cause mildew.
