Everybody loves desserts<\/a>, especially on national dessert day. Calories don\u2019t count on this day (don\u2019t spoil the fun!) but the laundry<\/a> does count when you accidentally spill dessert on your clothes. Fortunately, we are here to guide you on how to remove the most common dessert stains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Cake Icing Stains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Words cannot describe how great cake is; It\u2019s creamy and sweet, and sometimes, it can be annoying when it lands on your lap! The icing part of the cake especially can be tedious to remove from your clothes due to its oily fat and artificial pigment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To remove the cake icing stain, get a butter knife to scrape it and then rinse the stain with cold water. Afterwards, treat the stained area with a stain remover and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Ice Cream Stains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Summer may be over but it\u2019s still not too cold for ice cream<\/a>, especially in October! Ice cream brings smiles to faces, but like the gloomy autumn days, ice cream stains on your clothes bring frowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First things first, treat the stain immediately and don\u2019t allow it to settle further into the fabric<\/a>. Scrape the ice cream stain off using a butter knife and then pour some laundry detergent<\/a> into the stain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Jelly Stains<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Jelly is a delightful dessert that bursts with tasty fruity flavour. No matter what fruit your jelly is, it can wobble our laundry routine with an unexpected spill on your clothes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Much like cake icing and ice cream stains, don\u2019t let jelly stains settle into your clothes. Immediately scrape them off using a butter knife, wet a paper towel and blob the clothing and then proceed to pour stain remover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
